Introduction to our Blog

Welcome to the blog of Timeless Wedding Invitations. Here you will find inspirations for planning your wedding. There are so many ideas available on the internet it is hard to know where to start. I will do my best to let you know about the best products and services that will go well with a specific theme. Some examples are cake ideas for a beach wedding, flowers for a fall wedding and decorations for a winter wedding, etc.

Before I go any further, I will tell you a little bit about my experience with our wedding. From the moment I got engaged, we started to plan the wedding. We had a long engagement of 15 months, which helped with the planning phase. We went to many bridal shows to see what vendors were in our area – the Fraser Valley in BC, Canada. It took weeks to weigh our options, and finally, we decided on the details.  We choose a color theme of black and red.

The one thing that we couldn’t find that suited our vision was the invitations. We bought some regular cardstock and some craft supplies.  After much thought, we came up with a design that we loved.  It still took us many hours to measure, cut, and assemble the cards.

We printed the insert cards on our home computer.  Our wedding invitations by now means were high quality, but we were proud of them.  In the end, it was all worth it since our guests let us know how much they loved the invitation.

Our wedding was nine years ago, and much has changed in the industry since then. From this experience, I have decided to create luxury wedding invites for brides across the country. Creating invitations has been my passion since I loved designing our cards.

We all have a different vision as to what our wedding day will look like, whether it is just a simple gathering or an elaborate large wedding.  I would love to make a part of your celebration a memorable one.

That brings me to the types of cards I sell here at Timeless Wedding Invitations.  Each card comes fully assembled, if needed, so you don’t have to spend a long time putting them together.

Laser Cut Wedding Invitations

The design on the card will be cut out using precision laser machines to offer you the most exquisite look. They are sure to wow your guests and create a lasting impression. The paper that is being used depends on the design of the card.  I like to use 250GSM/90lb cardstock, including a glitter, shimmer, or matte finish.

Printed Wedding Invitations

Currently, we use two different ways to print the wording onto the card. The first option is digitally printed using high-quality machines. The other method is UV Printing, which gives the ink a raised 3D texture. This is my favorite printing method and so happy to be able to offer it to my customers.  The paper that is being used is 250GSM/90lb cardstock, including a shimmer or matte finish.  The newest addition and by far the most popular is vellum paper.
